VEL TECH group of educational institution was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service Dr.Rangarajan and Dr. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30years of experience in developing industries and international trade. What took off as a modest school now stands now stands as a monument of glory for “Chennai City”. A student volume of above 12,000 throngs the various educational intuition of VEL TECH group. Though sheer hard work and principled living, the couple has been able to make these institutions tremendously successful by offering large number of courses at Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D.level. Dr.Rangarajan is currently the syndicate member of Madras and Anna University. The long dedicated and passionate expedition continues to the cause of building the nation.

       Our Institution approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University Chennai, is one among the prestigious self- financing institutions which started functioning in Tamil Nadu from 2002. Presently college is offering seven under graduate & two post graduate programs in Engineering and Technology. The institution aims at providing value based education by imparting the practical training, Knowledge and skills, on the journey towards excellence. The salient features of our college include accreditation of UG/PG courses by AICTE, well established infrastructure, digital library and telecommunication facilities.
